Product Overview
The Braeburn 1020NC is a single-stage heat/cool thermostat designed for conventional and heat pump systems. It features a large 2 sq. in. display with a bright blue backlight, adjustable temperature limits, and permanent memory to retain user settings. The unit is powered by either 24V AC or two AA alkaline batteries.
Wiring and Installation
The thermostat is designed for mounting to a horizontal junction box. Ensure all wiring is connected according to the terminal designations:
- Rh: Heat 24 Volt AC Transformer
- Rc: Cool 24 Volt AC Transformer
- O: Reversing Valve Cool Active
- B: Reversing Valve Heat Active
- Y1: Cool Control
- W1: Heat Control

Operation and Settings

Common problems
Low battery indication
