This guide covers the installation and maintenance of the Brightlux 16.5ft High-Voltage 360° Neon Flex. Always ensure the product is unplugged before performing any maintenance or adding segments. The system requires GFCI protection for outdoor use and should not be operated while tightly coiled. The maximum extension length for this system is 108ft (32.9m).

Installation

Preparing to extend: Ensure all neon flex lights are unplugged. Remove the end cap from the last light in the series by turning it clockwise. Remove the power cord from additional extension segments.

Connecting: Connect the last neon flex light in the series to the extension segment. Ensure connectors are tightly secured. Attach the end cap to the final segment to ensure a secure, water-resistant connection.

Mounting: Mounting clips should be evenly spaced, with a maximum distance of 3ft (0.91m) apart. Insert the screw through the mounting clip, secure the clip to the installation surface, and press the neon flex light firmly into the clip.

Maintenance

Replacing the fuse: The plug on the main neon flex light contains an electrical fuse. To replace it:

1. Disconnect the power.
2. Grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet.
3. Slide the fuse access cover towards the prongs to open.
4. Remove the old fuse and replace it with a 5-Amp 125-Volt fuse.
5. Slide the fuse access cover back to the closed position.

Safety Information

• Do not install within 16ft (4.87m) of a pool or spa.
• Do not install in cabinets, tanks, or enclosures.
• Do not submerge in liquids.
• Do not puncture, cut, shorten, or splice the flexible lighting.
• Use only the provided mounting clips; do not use staples or nails.
• Inspect the cord insulation periodically; do not use if damaged.
• Ensure the distance between two lines of neon flex light is at least 1/2in (12mm).
