This guide provides essential instructions for operating the Certa 20000MAH 3000A Portable Jump Starter. Before first use, ensure the unit is charged for at least 3 hours. For normal operation, always confirm the unit has at least 50% power before attempting to jump start a vehicle.
Safety & Warnings
- Do not use the jump starter if any cable, clamp, or cord is damaged.

Charging the Jump Starter
- Connect a USB power adapter (not provided) to an electrical outlet.
- Connect the charging cable into the USB-C input on the jump starter and the other end into the power adapter.
- Press the power button to switch the unit on; the display will show the charging percentage.
- Unplug the cable when charging is complete.
Jump Starting a Vehicle
- Insert the battery clamp plug completely into the jump starter.
- Press the power button.
- Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the car battery.
- Start the vehicle.
- Once started, remove the clamps from the battery, then remove the clamps from the jump starter.
Note: This device is for 12V vehicles only (petrol engines up to 7.0L or diesel engines up to 4.5L).

Power Bank & Flashlight
To use as a power bank, connect your device via USB cable and press the power button. To use the flashlight, press the power button, then the light button. Press the power button to cycle through modes: Solid, Flash, SOS, and Off.
Battery Clamp LED Display
The battery clamps provide status and error indicators:
- Standby: Symbol rotates left to right.
- Low voltage protection: Symbol flashes; charge the unit.
- Reverse polarity protection: Symbol flashes; check clamp connections.
