This document provides instructions for installing the Digitus PCI Express FireWire 1394-A Card (DS-30201-5). The card is a plug-and-play device that does not require manual driver installation on supported Windows operating systems.

Hardware Description
The card utilizes a PCI-Express x 1 connector interface. It features 3 external 1394-A ports and 1 internal 1394 mini port.
System Requirements
The card is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, and Mac operating systems.
Hardware Installation
- Turn off the power to your computer.
- Unplug the power cord and remove your computer’s cover.
- Remove the slot bracket from an available PCIe slot.
- Carefully align the card’s bus connector with the selected PCIe slot on the motherboard and push the board down firmly.
- Connect the system power source to the board’s power connector.
- Replace the slot bracket’s holding screw to secure the card.
- Replace the computer cover and reconnect the power cord.
Driver Installation
No driver is required for this product. Windows 7, 8, and 10 will automatically detect and install the correct driver for the FireWire 4-Port PCI Card upon startup.

Card not detected by the system
Ensure the card is firmly seated in the PCIe slot and that the system power source is connected to the board's power connector.
Driver installation prompt
