The Donner Pocket Go is a portable, multi-functional guitar and bass effects pedal. It features 21 editable presets, 6 customizable effect modules, and a built-in battery providing up to 7 hours of playtime. It also functions as an audio interface for recording via USB or mobile devices.

Device Overview


Rear Panel
- Power switch: Turns the device on and off.
- IN: 1/4" input for guitar/bass signal.
- Volume Knob: Controls output volume (does not affect BT or USB input volume).
- Charging indicator: Red during charging, changes color when fully charged.
- USB jack: Used for charging, data transmission, and OTG recording.
- Headphone Output: For monitoring.
- OUT: 1/4" output for speaker or mixer.
Front Panel
- Wireless BT Indicator Light: Indicates Bluetooth status (off: disabled, flashing: searching/not connected, on: connected).
- Footswitches A, B, C: Used to toggle presets on/off (bypass mode).
Operation and Indicators
Preset Management
Presets are organized into 5 guitar groups and 2 bass groups (3 presets per group). Use the footswitches to navigate:
- Bank-: Simultaneously short press Footswitch A + B.
- Bank+: Simultaneously short press Footswitch B + C.
- Confirmation: When switching banks, lights flash slowly; press any footswitch to confirm.
Tuner Function
Hold Footswitches B + C for 2 seconds to enable the tuner. The standard frequency is 440Hz (adjustable in software). When tuning, the left light indicates low pitch, the right light indicates high pitch, and the middle light indicates correct intonation.
Low Battery
Fast flashing of a footswitch light indicates low battery. This is not displayed in Bypass, Bank switching, or Tuner modes.
Software and App
The Donner Pocket Go can be paired with a mobile app or computer software to edit presets, swap/import/export presets, and manage IR files. The software also allows for firmware upgrades and factory resets.

Loopback Function
The Loopback function is enabled by default. When on, computer/mobile audio is recorded alongside the instrument signal. When off, only the instrument signal from the IN jack is recorded, which is useful for multi-track recording.
Effect Modules
The device features 6 effect modules that can be customized in order:
- FX: Noise Gate, Boost, Compressor.
- AMP: 20 Preamp simulations (1-15 guitar, 16-20 bass).
- MOD: Modulation effects (Chorus, Phaser, Tremolo, Flanger, Vibrato, Univibe, Autofilter).
- DLY: Delay effects (Analog, Ducking, dTape, Dual, Lofi).
- REV: Reverb effects (Room, Hall, SWELL, Spring, Shimmer, Cloud).
- CAB: 20 IR Cabinet simulations (1-15 guitar, 16-20 bass).

Practical help
Common problems
A footswitch light flashes rapidly. Charge the device using the USB port.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the phone and the Donner Pocket Go. Check the BT indicator light status.
Enable or disable the Loopback function in the software depending on whether you want to record system audio alongside your instrument.
