The Electro-Harmonix EHX-2020 is a chromatic tuner pedal. To begin, connect your instrument cable to the Input Jack; this action engages the battery power. Press the Foot Switch to toggle the tuner on or off. When the tuner is active, the Output Jack is muted for silent tuning. Use the Pitch and Flat buttons to adjust your tuning preferences, and tune your instrument until the center guide lights up.

Tuning procedure

Common problems
Tuner does not turn on
Ensure a plug is inserted into the Input Jack to engage battery power, or verify that a compatible 9V DC adapter is connected.
No sound output from amplifier
When the tuner is active (on), the Output Jack is muted for silent tuning. Press the Foot Switch to turn the tuner off to pass the signal through.
Before use
