The Elgato Facecam 10WAA9901 is a high-performance webcam designed for professional video conferencing and streaming. It features an all-glass Elgato Prime Lens and a Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor, delivering high-quality, uncompressed video output.

Getting Started

To begin using your Facecam, download and install the official Elgato camera app from elgato.com/download. This software is essential for configuring the camera settings to suit your environment.

Mounting and Connection

The camera can be mounted directly onto your monitor using the integrated mount. Alternatively, it features a 1/4-inch thread, allowing it to be secured to the Elgato Multi Mount system or other compatible tripods. For connectivity, the Facecam must be connected directly to a USB 3.0 (or better) port on your PC or Mac. Do not use a USB hub, as it may not provide sufficient bandwidth or power for the camera to function correctly. Always use the supplied USB 3.0 cable or an equivalent high-quality cable.

Operation and Maintenance

Before use, remove the privacy cap from the lens. When cleaning the lens, use only a clean microfiber cloth. Do not use paper towels, detergents, or other chemical cleaners, as these can damage the lens coating. The camera is compatible with major streaming and video conferencing applications, including Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, Slack, OBS, SLOBS, and FaceTime, as well as any application supporting the UVC standard.
