The Elgato Wave Panels Starter Set provides a modular acoustic solution designed to improve sound quality in your workspace. The system features a unique hexagonal frame design that allows for creative layouts and easy installation. Each panel is constructed to be lightweight and durable, ensuring they can be securely mounted to various wall types.
Installation Preparation
Before beginning the installation, ensure you have all the components included in the kit: 6 EasyClick frames, 6 acoustic foam panels, and the necessary mounting hardware including tesa adhesive strips, screws, and wall anchors. It is essential to clean the surface of the frames and the wall thoroughly before applying any adhesive to ensure a long-lasting bond.
Mounting on Smooth Walls
For smooth surfaces, the included tesa adhesive strips are the recommended mounting method. Clean the frame surface with rubbing alcohol or a silicone-free glass cleaner. Apply the white side of the adhesive strips to the EasyClick frames, ensuring the blue side faces the wall. Press the frame firmly against the wall for 5 seconds. When removing, hold the frame firmly without pressing and pull the adhesive strips downwards approximately 25 cm parallel to the wall.
Mounting on Textured Walls
For textured or uneven walls, a more robust mounting approach is required. Secure the panel using a single screw and wall anchor to hang it in place. Use a spirit or laser level to ensure the panels are perfectly aligned. For maximum stability, you can use a combination of adhesive strips, clips, and screws to minimize the number of holes drilled into the wall.
Connecting and Maintenance
Once the frames are mounted, you can connect multiple panels together using the provided clips to create custom patterns. After the frames are secure, insert the acoustic foam panels into the frames. To maintain the panels, avoid attaching heavy items to them and keep them away from direct sunlight or areas with strong air currents. Always ensure the installation area is clear of children during the setup process due to small parts that pose a choking hazard. Do not mount panels on ceilings.

Adhesive strips not sticking
Ensure the wall and frame surfaces are cleaned with rubbing alcohol or silicone-free cleaner and are completely dust-free before application.
Panels are not level
