Important Safety Information

Read all safety instructions carefully before using the product to prevent injury or damage. Failure to follow these instructions voids the warranty and releases the manufacturer from liability for consequential damages.

Intended Use

• The device is designed for professional stage lighting in indoor and outdoor environments (IP65 rated).
• It is not intended for continuous operation, especially outdoors, and is not suitable for household room lighting.
• Unauthorized modifications or alterations to the device are strictly prohibited for safety reasons.

Electrical Safety

• The device operates with dangerous mains voltage. Never open the device; there are no user-serviceable parts inside.
• Connect only to a properly installed socket that matches the voltage and frequency on the type plate and is protected by a residual current device (RCD).
• Never deactivate the protective earth conductor.
• For outdoor use, use only H05RN-F or H05RR-F rubber cables. For underground installation, use NYY cables.
• Ensure the power socket is easily accessible to disconnect the device quickly if necessary.
• Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
• Disconnect from the mains during long periods of non-use, before cleaning, or during thunderstorms.

Installation and Mounting

• Installation must be performed by a qualified professional. Improper installation can lead to injury or property damage.
• Ensure the device is securely mounted and cannot fall.
• For overhead mounting, the device must always be secured by a secondary attachment (e.g., a safety cable or safety net).
• The area below the device must be cordoned off during installation and maintenance work.
• Observe national safety regulations, particularly EN 60598-2-17.

Temperature and Fire Safety

• Permissible ambient temperature (Ta) is -5 to +45 °C. Do not operate outside this range.
• Housing temperature (Tc) can reach up to 60 °C during operation. Avoid contact.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm to the illuminated surface.
• Maintain a minimum distance of 50 cm to surrounding surfaces to ensure adequate air circulation. Do not cover ventilation openings.
• Keep away from flammable materials.

Maintenance and Care

• Do not connect the device to a dimmer.
• Avoid frequent switching on and off, as this significantly reduces the lifespan of the device.
• If the device has been exposed to extreme temperature changes, allow it to reach ambient temperature before switching it on to prevent condensation damage.
• Regularly check seals and screw connections to ensure trouble-free operation.
• Protect the device from external light sources (sunlight, lasers, other spotlights) to prevent damage to internal optics and LEDs.
