Quick guide from the manual

This manual provides essential assembly and safety instructions for the Evolur Stilnovo Mid Century Convertible Crib. Always read all instructions before assembly. Do not use power drills or drivers during assembly to avoid damaging the wood. Ensure all parts are present before starting. The crib is designed for infants and toddlers; stop using it when the child can climb out or reaches 90 cm in height.

Safety and Warnings

  • Fall Hazard: When the child can pull to a standing position, set the mattress to the lowest position and remove bumper pads or large toys that could serve as steps.
  • Strangulation Hazard: Never place the crib near windows where cords from blinds or drapes could reach the child. Do not suspend strings over the crib or attach them to toys.
  • Suffocation Hazard: Use only a firm, full-size crib mattress (at least 69 cm x 131 cm, thickness 10-15 cm). Never use soft bedding, pillows, or comforters.
  • Maintenance: Regularly check for loose joints, damaged hardware, or missing parts. Do not use the crib if any components are damaged.

Assembly Instructions

Assembly requires an adult. Place parts on a soft surface to prevent scratching. Use the provided Allen Key (K) for all bolts. Do not overtighten.

  • Legs Assembly: Attach legs to the support plates, ensuring they are angled outwards.
  • Bottom Frame: Align the front bar with the leg assemblies and secure with bolts.
  • Side Panels: Attach the left and right panels to the bottom frame.
  • Headboard: Secure the headboard panel to the side panels.
  • Mattress Support: Attach the support panel at the desired height (highest for newborns, mid for infants, lowest for toddlers). Ensure it is flat.
  • Footboard: Finally, attach the footboard panel to the structure.

Conversion Modes

The crib can be converted into a Daybed, Toddler Bed, or Full-Size Bed. In all cases, the footboard must be removed. For Toddler Bed conversion, use the Evolur Universal Toddler Guard Rail (SKU-811). For Full-Size Bed conversion, use Evolur Bed Rails (SKU-812) and ensure a proper support base (Bunky Board or box spring) is used under the mattress.

Furniture Care

Maintain the finish by cleaning with a damp, not wet, cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, direct sunlight, and extreme temperature/humidity changes. Do not use vaporizers or humidifiers in close proximity to the furniture as this can cause the wood to swell and peel.
