Assembly Guide for MOANA Shell Bed 90x190cm

This document provides assembly instructions for the MOANA shell bed (90x190cm). It is recommended to assemble the bed in a clean, flat area using a carpet or blanket to prevent scratches. The assembly process requires two people and approximately one hour. Ensure the room is well-ventilated during and for a few hours after assembly.

Safety and usage

• Recommended mattress size: 190 x 90 cm.
• Ventilation is necessary to maintain low humidity levels and prevent mold growth in and around the bed.
• Regularly check that all fasteners are properly tightened.
• Do not use the product if any part appears damaged, broken, or missing.
• Avoid placing the product near open fires or other sources of high heat, such as radiators.
• Never force the joints during assembly.
• Tighten parts to 70% initially, and finish tightening to 100% once all screws have been installed.

Assembly steps

1. Step 1: Attach the four legs (part 6) to the headboard (part 1) and the footboard (part 2).
2. Step 2: Connect the headboard (part 1) to the footboard (part 2) using the provided screws and the M5 Allen key (part 103).
3. Step 3: Attach the side rails (part 3) to the headboard and footboard assembly using the M5 Allen key.
4. Step 4: Secure the central support bar (part 4) to the side rails using the M3.5 x 16mm screws (part 101).
5. Step 5: Insert the bed slats (part 5) into the side rails using the bed slat side fitters (part 102).
6. Step 6: Ensure all components are securely tightened.

Maintenance

For solid timber, veneers, and lacquered surfaces, remove spills immediately with a damp cloth and wipe dry. For melamine, laminate, linoleum, and metal surfaces, regular dusting with a dry cloth is sufficient. For stubborn stains, use a damp cloth and mild washing-up liquid. For chrome, stainless steel, or glass, use appropriate proprietary cleaners.
