Quick guide from the manual
This document provides essential instructions for installing and maintaining the Falcon Ridge 4010 Mini Cab Enclosure. For optimal results, perform the installation in temperatures of 65°F (18°C) or warmer. Ensure the vehicle surface is clean before applying any adhesive strips.
Installation procedure
- Unroll the cab enclosure on a clean, flat surface to prevent scratching the windows.
- Verify all parts: 6x 8" Velcro hook strips, 4x 10" Velcro hook strips, 1x 36" Velcro hook strip, and the cab enclosure.
- Drape the windshield/top over the roll cage. Attach the webbing straps to the front nose of the cab, wrapping them around the diagonal bumper support bars. Leave them loose initially.
- Fit the rear panel by pulling the lower edge down between the roll cage and the dump bed. Secure it using the 36" latch strip. Clean surfaces thoroughly before applying adhesive.
- Install the 8" hook and loop strips on the sides of the roll cage near the front window. Apply strips to one side first, then pull the window tight toward the other side to reduce wrinkles.
- Locate the 8" Velcro tabs on the rear window, mark the roll cage, and apply the corresponding adhesive hook strips. Pull the rear window tight to secure.
Cleaning and storage
- Cleaning: Use a soft rag (flannel or microfiber) or sponge with mild liquid detergent and warm water. Never rub windows with a dry cloth. Allow to dry completely before storage.
- Storage: Do not fold the cab, as this damages the windows. Roll the cab into a cylinder approximately 8 inches in diameter. Store at room temperature, avoiding extreme heat or cold.
Safety and maintenance
The cab enclosure is flammable. Do not smoke inside the cab or expose it to direct flames. Falcon Ridge offers a special cleaner conditioner to extend the life of the enclosure. Additional hook and loop sets can be ordered if needed.
