Quick Guide from the Manual

This document provides instructions for installing and maintaining the Falcon Ridge Bobcat 2200 Mini Cab Enclosure. Important: Installation should be performed in temperatures of 70°F (21°C) or warmer to ensure the adhesive Velcro bonds correctly. If the temperature is colder, store the Velcro at room temperature before installation. Do not smoke inside the cab or expose it to direct flames as the material is flammable.

Installation Preparation

Before beginning, ensure you have a clean, flat surface to work on to avoid scratching the windows. Unhook the hood of the vehicle to facilitate installation. Verify that all parts are included in the carton:

  • 4 each: 3” Velcro Hook strips
  • 4 each: 8” Velcro Hook strips
  • 2 each: 10” Velcro Hook strips
  • 1 each: 32” Velcro Hook strip
  • 1 each: 48” Velcro Hook strip
  • 1 each: Cab Enclosure

Installation Steps

Velcro strip installation on the roll cage and windshield frame
  1. Windshield: Install the windshield first, following the specific instructions included with that product.
  2. Drape: Once the windshield is installed, drape the enclosure over the top of the vehicle and center it on the roll cage.
  3. Rear Section: Raise the vehicle bed. Place the 32” adhesive Velcro strip across the bottom rear of the cab and align it with the Velcro on the rear of the cab. Pull the rear of the enclosure down and affix it to the Velcro.
  4. Front Section: Pull the front of the cab down to determine the placement for the 48” adhesive Velcro strip along the top of the windshield. Apply the strip to the windshield and attach the cab.
  5. Roll Cage: Install the four 8” Velcro tabs on the left and right sides of the roll cage for the front window. Apply the 3” adhesive strips on the inside of the frame where the double-sided strips are sewn to the bottom of the front wing. Clean surfaces thoroughly before applying.
  6. Rear Window: Attach the two 10” adhesive strips down the sides of the rear window.

Cleaning and Storage

To maintain the longevity of your cab enclosure:

  • Cleaning: Clean with a soft rag or sponge using a mild liquid detergent soap and warm water. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth or rag, as this will cause scratches.
  • Storage: Always roll the cab for storage; never fold it, as folding will damage the windows. Roll the cab into a roll approximately 8 inches in diameter. Store in the original carton at normal room temperature. Avoid extreme hot or cold temperatures.
