The installation of the Falcon Ridge Soft Rear Window is best performed when the ambient temperature is 70°F (21°C) or warmer. This ensures the adhesive Velcro bonds correctly. Warning: Do not smoke inside the cab or expose the enclosure to direct flames, as the material is flammable.
Installation Preparation
Before starting, ensure you are working on a large, clean, and flat surface. Verify that all parts are included in the carton:
- 2x 10" Adhesive Velcro Hook Strips
- 2x 22" Adhesive Velcro Hook Strips
- 1x 25" Adhesive Velcro Hook Strip
- 1x 42" Adhesive Velcro Hook Strip
Installation Steps

Top and Side Bars
Begin by placing the 8" and 25" adhesive Velcro strips on top of the rear bar that runs across the vehicle. The 25" strip should be positioned between the two roof brackets. Next, apply the 22" adhesive Velcro strips down the side bars. You may need to cut the Velcro to ensure it adheres properly to each part of the frame.
Bottom Section
The bottom of the Rear Window is secured using the 42" adhesive Velcro strip. Apply this strip across the bottom plastic overhang from one side to the other.
Cleaning and Storage
To maintain the longevity of your cab enclosure:
- Cleaning: Clean with a soft rag or sponge using a mild liquid detergent and warm water. Never rub the windows with a dry cloth, as this can cause scratches.
- Storage: Always roll the cab for storage; never fold it, as folding will damage the windows. Roll the cab to a diameter of approximately 8 inches and store at room temperature.
