This document provides installation and usage instructions for the Fiamma Carry-Bike Frame Sprinter 3 Bikes. Before beginning, ensure your vehicle is compatible. Important: This carrier is designed for installation only on the right rear door and is not suitable for vehicles with a 270° hinge system. Always ensure the vehicle wall or door is sufficiently solid to support the carrier and the load.
Product description
The Carry-Bike Frame Sprinter is designed to transport up to 3 bicycles. The system includes various mounting brackets, rails, and bike blocks. Ensure all parts listed in the exploded view are present before starting the installation.

Installation instructions
Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel in compliance with local regulations. Follow these steps carefully:

- Verify the vehicle's rear door is suitable and solid.
- Follow the specific mounting sequence provided in the diagrams (pages 6-17).
- Ensure the carrier is mounted only on the right rear door.
- Tighten screws securely while ensuring the rear door can still open and close correctly.
- For versions with intermediate or lowered rail support positions, the use of a license plate carrier bar with lights is required.
- Do not fully tighten the fork to the tube; leave a 2mm space as indicated in the instructions.
Usage and safety
Proper usage is critical for safety:

- Weight distribution: Load the heaviest bike closest to the vehicle wall to ensure stability.
- Speed: Always comply with speed limits and adapt to traffic conditions.
- Visibility: If rear visibility is limited, use additional rear-view mirrors.
- Accessories: Remove accessories like child seats, baskets, or bike covers before transport as vibrations may cause them to detach.
- Rear wiper: Be aware of the rear windscreen wiper's radius of action, as the carrier may interfere with its operation.
- Handlebars: It is recommended to rotate bicycle handlebars to avoid damage to the vehicle wall.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is required to ensure safety:
- Check the carrier's attachment periodically, especially after the first few kilometers and before/after long trips.
- Inspect rubber components under the brackets and straps for signs of wear or porosity. Replace immediately if damaged.
- Ensure all bolts and fasteners remain tight.
