Quick guide from the manual
The Gainsborough 12pc Solar Edge Lights are designed for outdoor decorative use. To ensure optimal performance, the lights must be charged for at least 8 hours in direct sunlight with the switch in the ON position before first use. The lights feature an automatic sensor that turns them on at night.

Assembly Instructions
Unpack all components carefully. To facilitate installation and prevent damage to the stakes:
- Wet the ground before inserting the stakes to make the soil softer.
- Select a spot with soft, rock-free soil.
- Insert the base of the stake first, then gently insert the rest of the stake into the base.
- Important: Do not push directly against the solar cell or the ornament housing containing the LED light, as this may cause damage.
Optimal Placement
For the best results, place the lights in an area that receives direct sunlight for at least 8 hours per day. Illumination time is directly proportional to the amount of sunlight received. Avoid placing the lights near other outdoor light sources, such as porch or streetlights, as these may interfere with the sensor and prevent the lights from turning on.
Maintenance
Clean the solar panels regularly using a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive materials, and avoid applying excessive pressure to the solar panels. Keep the surface free from dust and debris to ensure maximum charging efficiency.
Battery Safety
When replacing batteries, use only rechargeable batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. Remove batteries if the product will be left unused for long periods. Never dispose of batteries in a fire and follow local regulations for proper recycling.
