This document provides essential instructions for setting up and using the Gembird STR-M-01 racing wheel. The device is compatible with PC, PS3, PS4, Switch, and Android platforms. Always ensure the game console is turned off before connecting the wheel to avoid calibration issues.

Installation

To set up the racing wheel:

• Connect the foot pedal unit to the base of the steering wheel using the provided cable.
• Ensure the steering wheel is in a neutral position before switching on your game console.
• Connect the USB cable from the steering wheel to your console or PC.
• For PS4 and PS3, ensure the console is turned off before plugging in the USB connector.

Operation and Settings

Sensitivity Settings: You can adjust the steering sensitivity by turning the sensitivity dial on the wheel. Higher sensitivity results in faster reaction times to steering inputs.

Vibration Feedback: The wheel supports vibration feedback. Ensure your game platform and software support this function.

Mode LED: The LED indicator is on for PS4, PS3, Switch, Android, and PC-XInput modes. It is off for PC-DInput mode.

Button Relocation

You can remap buttons (L1, R1, L2, R2, L-pedal, R-pedal) to other functions:

1. Press the MENU and X buttons simultaneously and hold for 3 seconds. The LED will flash, indicating setup mode.
2. Press the button you wish to relocate (e.g., L1).
3. Press the action button you want to assign to that function (e.g., Triangle). The LED will stop flashing, and the relocation is complete.
4. To return to default values, enter setup mode and press the button you want to reset twice.

Caution and Maintenance

• Do not expose the wheel to high temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight.
• Keep the device away from liquids and small particles.
• Do not place heavy objects on the wheel.
• Never disassemble the steering wheel.
• Avoid pulling or twisting the cables forcefully.
