The Golden Lighting 2073-OPR and 2073-OPST fixtures are designed for outdoor use and offer two installation methods: Post Mount (using the square base) or Pier Mount (using the round base). Always ensure the power is shut off at the circuit breaker before beginning any installation work. Installation should be performed by an accredited professional.

Preparation
Before starting, carefully remove the fixture and all parts from the packaging. Ensure you have the necessary tools. Shut off the power supply at the fuse or circuit breaker and remove the old fixture and mounting strap from the wall or post.
Wiring
Have an assistant support the fixture's weight during wiring. Connect the fixture wires to the power supply wires from the junction box as follows:
- Hot: Connect to the hot wire (smooth, black, or transparent with black inner thread).
- Neutral: Connect to the neutral wire (ribbed, white, or transparent with white inner thread).
- Ground: Connect to the ground wire (copper, bare metal, green, or transparent with green inner thread).
Twist the wire pairs together and secure them with a wire connector, ensuring all twists are in the same direction. If no house ground wire is available, attach the fixture ground wire to the ground screw (E) on the mounting bracket.
Installation
Post Mount (Square Base F):

- Remove the mounting strap (A) from the fixture.
- Measure the hole spacing on the mounting strap and drill two 5mm holes at the top of the wall/post.
- Install expansion bolts (C), place the mounting strap (A) on the bolts, add washers (D), and secure with hex nuts (G).
- Place the square base (F) on the mounting strap and fasten with side screws (B) and the waterproof pad.
Pier Mount (Round Base M):
- Loosen the square base (F) from the fixture.
- Lock the round base (M) at the bottom cap (L).
- Place one end of the round base (M) onto the column head (not included) and fix it with screws (N).
Finishing
Install a light bulb (not included) according to the fixture's specifications. Do not exceed the maximum recommended wattage. Place the glass (I) into the fixture, attach the cover (J), and lock it with the decorative nuts (K). After installation, apply silicone cement caulking to seal the gap between the enclosure and the mounting surface.
