Quick Guide: Placement and Height Recommendations

To ensure the best lighting aesthetic and functionality, follow these height guidelines:

• Kitchen Island: Center a linear pendant over the island. Use one pendant for every 24 inches of island length. Fixtures should hang at least 30 inches above the countertop.
• Dining Room Table: Fixtures should hang at least 30 inches above the table. Use a fixture that is 12 inches narrower than the width of the table.
• Open Areas: The bottom of the fixture should hang at least 7.5 feet from the floor. Ensure there is clearance for any opening doors.

Preparation for Installation

Before starting, ensure you have all parts from the yellow bag. Follow these critical safety steps:

• Shut off the power supply at the fuse or circuit breaker.
• Remove the old fixture and mounting strap from the wall or ceiling.
• Ensure all installation work is performed by an accredited professional.
• Use only the specified bulbs and do not exceed the maximum wattage.

Installation: Semi-Flush (View 1)

1. Test the canopy (G) on the mounting strap (B) to ensure it hangs straight and the mounting screws (A) are exposed enough for the decorative nuts (F).
2. Secure the mounting strap (B) to the junction box using mounting screws (D).
3. Tilt the glass (V) and slide it into the frame (R) to sit on the internal tabs.
4. Slide candle sleeves (T) over the sockets (U).
5. Install bulbs (not provided) and attach the socket cluster (S) to the frame (R) using decorative nuts (Q).
6. Push the canopy (G) up to the ceiling and secure it with decorative nuts (F).
7. Hang crystal drops (O) onto the hooks (N).

Installation: Pendant (View 2)

1. Remove the semi-flush canopy and prepare the mounting strap assembly.
2. Attach the mounting strap (A) to the junction box.
3. Adjust the height of the nipple (F) and canopy loop (H) as needed.
4. Assemble the glass (V) and socket cluster (S) to the frame (R) as described in the semi-flush steps.
5. Feed the fixture wires through the top loop (L) and thread it onto the post (M).
6. Determine the required chain length, remove excess chain (J) if necessary, and attach chain connectors (K).
7. Feed wires through the chain and attach the chain to the canopy loop (H).
8. Secure the canopy (G) to the ceiling using the canopy loop collar (I).
9. Hang crystal drops (O) onto the hooks (N).

Wiring Connections

Have an assistant support the fixture's weight during wiring. Connect the fixture wires to the house power supply wires:

• Hot: Connect to the hot house wire (smooth, black, or transparent with black inner thread).
• Neutral: Connect to the neutral house wire (ribbed, white, or transparent with white inner thread).
• Ground: Connect to the ground house wire (copper, bare metal, green, or transparent with green inner thread).
• If no house ground wire exists, wrap the fixture ground wire around the ground screw (E) on the mounting bracket.
• Twist wire pairs together and secure with a wire connector. Ensure all twists are in the same direction.
