  1. Hold the backplate (D) up to the mounting strap (A) to align the holes.
  2. Insert mounting screws (C) into the strap so they protrude through the backplate. Use nuts (D) to secure the screws in place.
  3. Remove the backplate and set it aside for later.
  4. Secure the mounting strap (A) to the junction box using mounting screws (B). Tighten securely with a screwdriver.

Wiring the Fixture

Have an assistant support the fixture's weight during wiring. Connect the fixture wires to the house supply wires using wire connectors, ensuring all twists are in the same direction.

  • Neutral: Connect to the ribbed, white, or transparent wire with white inner thread.
  • Ground: Connect to the copper, bare metal, green, or transparent wire with green inner thread.

If there is no house ground wire, locate the ground screw (E) on the mounting bracket and wrap the fixture's ground wire around it. Tighten the screw to secure the wire.

Finishing the Installation

Place the backplate (F) over the mounting screws (C). Secure it with washers and deco nuts (G) until the backplate is snug against the wall. Install the specified light bulb (not included) into the socket (H). Slide the glass shade (I) over the bulb and twist to secure. Apply clear silicone rubber caulking to seal the gap between the enclosure and the mounting surface, but leave the bottom gap unsealed to allow for water drainage.
