Quick guide from the manual

This document provides installation instructions for the Golden Lighting 1094-SF Ariella semi-flush ceiling fixture. Before beginning, ensure the power supply is shut off at the fuse or circuit breaker. Installation should be performed by an accredited professional. Do not exceed the maximum recommended wattage for the bulb.

Installation and Wiring

Preparation: Remove the fixture and parts from the carton. Attach the mounting strap (B) to the junction box using mounting screws (D). Ensure the mounting screws (A) are adjusted to the correct length to allow the canopy (F) to sit flush against the ceiling.

Wiring: Have an assistant support the fixture's weight. Connect the fixture wires to the house supply wires using wire connectors:

  • Hot: Connect to the house Hot wire (usually black or smooth).
  • Neutral: Connect to the house Neutral wire (usually white or ribbed).
  • Ground: Connect to the house Ground wire (usually green, bare metal, or copper).

Ensure all wire twists are in the same direction and secured with a wire connector. If no house ground wire exists, attach the fixture ground wire to the ground screw (E) on the mounting strap.

Assembly

Once wiring is complete, lift the canopy (F) over the mounting strap (B) and secure it with the decorative nuts (G). Slide the glass (I) and cap (J) over the socket (H) and secure them in place by tightening the socket ring (K). Install the light bulb (not included) according to the fixture's specifications.
