The Graef MCM12EU is a manual coffee grinder designed for domestic use. Before first use, clean the collecting container with warm water and mild detergent, and wipe the housing with a damp cloth. Perform a test grind and discard the resulting coffee to remove any production residues.

- Children from 8 years old can use the unit under supervision.
- Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents.
- Never wash or clean the grinder with water.
Setting the grinding level
To adjust the grind level:
- Remove the crank and lid.
- Unscrew the ground coffee container.
- Hold the lever and turn the setting cross with three fingers.
- Turn clockwise for a finer grind and anti-clockwise for a coarser grind. A click is noticeable when adjusting.
- For a finer grind, remove all beans first and grind the unit empty to prevent broken bean pieces from interfering with the adjustment.
Grinding coffee beans
Fill the grinder with the desired amount of beans (max. approx. 25g). Hold the grinder by the center section and turn the crank clockwise until all beans are ground. Unscrew the container to remove the ground coffee.
Cleaning and maintenance
Important: Never wash or clean the grinder with water. Use only the supplied cleaning brush. Disassemble the grinder by removing the crank, ground coffee container, and turning the star handle anti-clockwise to remove the adjusting disc and grinding cone. Clean the cone and grinding rim with the brush. Reassemble in reverse order.
