Wind Baffles & Top Covers
Wind baffles and top covers are designed to protect outdoor units in cold or harsh climates. They are fabricated from 20 gauge G90 galvanized steel.

- Front Wind Baffle: Required for all climates when the unit is mounted on a flat roof or facing prevailing winds.
- Low Ambient Cooling (below 23°F / 5°C): Front, side, and back wind baffles, plus a top cover, are required.
- Low Ambient Heating (below 5°F / -15°C): Side, back wind baffles, and a top cover are strongly recommended.
Indoor Unit Accessories
The guide lists various accessories for indoor units:
- Cassette Panels: Required for cassette indoor units; sold separately. The remote controller (WJ26X35394) is included with the cassette panel.
- Refrigerant Detection Sensor (RDS): Required for certain highwall and cassette indoor units based on room sizing requirements. It is factory-installed on console and ducted units.
