The Bauer 20142E-B is an electric pressure washer designed for light to moderate outdoor residential cleaning. It features a brushless motor and requires a dedicated 120V electrical circuit. Important: Do not use extension cords with this unit. Ensure your water supply provides at least 2.4 GPM to prevent pump cavitation and damage.

Assembly
Before assembly, ensure the unit is unplugged and the water supply is off.

- Attach Handle: Hold the spring buttons on the handle ends and slide the handle into the lower frame until the buttons pop into place.
- Connect High-Pressure Hose: Push the hose into the water inlet on the motor side and thread the coupler tightly. Connect the other end to the connection under the spray gun handle.
Operation
Follow these steps for safe operation:

- Water Supply: Verify your water source can provide 2.4-3 GPM. Run water for 30 seconds into a 5-gallon container to measure flow rate.
- Nozzle Selection: Select the appropriate nozzle for your task. The black nozzle is specifically for dispensing detergent at lower pressure.
- Starting: Plug the GFCI into a grounded 120V outlet and press the RESET button. Turn on the water supply, then turn the power switch to the ON position.
- Safety: Always maintain a firm grip on the spray gun as squeezing the trigger causes kickback force. Do not leave the unit idle for more than one minute without spraying.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for longevity:
- After Use: Drain water by tipping the unit to prevent frost damage. Flush the detergent tank with water.
- Cleaning Nozzles: Clean nozzles after every use to maintain power. Use the provided cleaning needle to push out debris and back-flush with water.
- Storage: Store in a dry, frost-free room. For long-term storage, flush the unit with automotive antifreeze.
Troubleshooting
If the unit fails to start, check the power connection, ensure the GFCI is reset, and verify the circuit breaker. If output pressure varies, check for kinks in the water supply hose, clean the inlet filter, or ensure the nozzle is not clogged. If the unit stops suddenly, check the GFCI reset button.
Technical Specifications
The unit operates at 120VAC / 60Hz / 13A. It provides a maximum pressure of 2300 PSI and a maximum flow rate of 1.2 GPM. The maximum water temperature is 104°F.
