Quick guide from the manual
This Honeywell portable dehumidifier is designed for indoor residential use. Before first use, place the unit in an upright position for at least 1 hour (or 4 hours if it was transported on its side) to allow the refrigerant to stabilize. Ensure the unit is placed on a level floor with at least 45 cm (17.7 inches) of clearance around it for proper airflow.
Safety Rules
This appliance uses R290 flammable refrigerant. Do not use in rooms smaller than 4 m². Keep away from open flames, gas appliances, or electric heaters. Always unplug the unit before cleaning, servicing, or moving it. Do not use extension cords.
Operation
The control panel allows you to select between four modes: Laundry Mode (high speed for drying clothes), Dehumidifying Mode (adjustable humidity 30%-90% RH), Comfort Mode (auto-adjusts based on temperature), and Continuous Mode (low speed, continuous operation). The unit features an auto-restart function in case of power outages and an automatic defrost feature for the internal coils.
Draining Water
Water can be collected in the internal tank or drained continuously. To use the tank, pull it out from the front, empty it, and ensure the foam float is positioned correctly. For continuous drainage, remove the direct drain cap at the back and attach the included drain tube, ensuring it is angled downwards and free of kinks.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the dust filter every 2 weeks to maintain efficiency. Switch off and unplug the unit, remove the filter, and rinse it under running water or vacuum it. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling. For end-of-season storage, empty the tank, clean the filter, coil the power cord, and store the unit upright in a dry location.
Troubleshooting
If the unit does not start, check the power supply, ensure the tank is correctly seated, and reset the safety switch on the plug. If humidity does not decrease, ensure windows and doors are closed, the filter is clean, and the room temperature is within the 5°C to 32°C range.

Check connections between the drain hose and the outlet; ensure the hose is not loose or damaged.
