This document outlines the differences between the HP Premier and HP Corporate-Ready Windows images. The Corporate-Ready image is designed for customers who prefer a minimal Windows preinstall, allowing for custom provisioning while maintaining the reliability of HP-tested OS and drivers.
HP Premier vs. Corporate-Ready Images
The HP Premier image is the standard factory image, including Windows OS, drivers, Microsoft 365 Apps trial, and various HP value-added applications. The Corporate-Ready image is a subset of the Premier image, removing most HP value-added software while retaining the same high-quality Windows OS and device drivers.
Supported Windows Editions
The Corporate-Ready option is available with most Windows 10 and Windows 11 editions, including:
- Home
- Pro
- Pro for Workstations
- Pro for Education
Note: Not all products offer all OS editions.
Provisioning Methods
The document describes two main provisioning approaches:

- Traditional Provisioning: Involves wiping the system and loading a custom image.
- Modern Provisioning: Retains the factory-preinstalled image and uses modern solutions like Microsoft Autopilot to install applications, policies, and settings after the system reaches the end-user.
Microsoft Office
Both images include a Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise 64-Bit trial. Customers can order a "No Office" option if they wish to remove this from the factory image.
