  4. Slide the LeoVince silencer onto the link pipe. Check the alignment of the mounting eyes for the springs and the exhaust outlet.
  5. Connect the parts using the provided springs.
  6. Fit the clamps to the silencer. Mount spacers, washers, and brackets as shown in the product diagram.
  7. Tighten all nuts and bolts securely.
  8. Start the engine, wait a few minutes for it to reach operating temperature, and check for any gas leaks.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity of your exhaust system, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Check fasteners: After the first 100 km, check all brackets and fasteners, as the exhaust system needs breaking-in and may require re-tightening.
  • Cleaning: The silencer may be cleaned using gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol. Do not use any solvents.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all brackets, fasteners, and rubber parts for wear and replace them if necessary.
  • Discoloration: A change in the color of the silencer is normal due to heat and the nature of the materials used.

Important warnings

  • White smoke: It is normal for some white smoke to appear the first time you use the exhaust, even after switching off the engine.
  • Gas leaks: Slight gas leakage might occur during the initial break-in period.
  • Modifications: It is strictly forbidden to modify the silencer. Any modification voids the manufacturer's responsibility.
  • Professional installation: We suggest the fitting be made by professionals.
