Quick guide from the manual

This document provides installation and maintenance instructions for the LeoVince 15220FB LV-10 Slip-On Exhaust, designed for the Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 and Vitpilen 701 (including the 33 kW version). Always ensure the exhaust system is cool before performing any work to prevent burns or damage to heat-sensitive components.

  1. Remove the original silencer: Carefully remove the stock exhaust system from the motorcycle.
  2. Prepare surfaces: Ensure all mating surfaces are clean and in good condition.
  3. Install link pipe: Slide the LeoVince link pipe onto the original header. If a graphite bushing is supplied, use it to replace the original one, taking care not to damage it. Partially tighten the securing strap to allow for further adjustments.
  4. Install silencer: Slide the LV-10 silencer onto the link pipe. Verify the alignment of the mounting eyes for the springs and the exhaust outlet.
  5. Secure parts: Connect the silencer and link pipe using the provided springs. Mount spacers, washers, and support brackets as shown in the technical drawing, then tighten all nuts and bolts.
  6. Final check: Tighten the clamps joining the link pipe to the header. Start the engine, let it reach operating temperature, and check for any gas leaks.

Important Notes

During the first kilometers of use, the exhaust system will undergo a break-in period. Slight gas leakage may occur initially. It is mandatory to check and retighten all fasteners after approximately 100 km of riding.

Maintenance

Periodically check all brackets and fasteners, as they may be affected by use. Inspect components such as sound-deadening material, seals, and rubber parts, and replace them if necessary. To clean the silencer, use gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol; do not use any solvents. Discoloration of the silencer is normal and results from heat and the nature of the materials used.

Safety and Restrictions

Any modification or tampering with the exhaust silencer is strictly forbidden. Belgrove Sp. z o.o. declines all responsibility for defects, problems, or malfunctions arising from the use of a modified product. Professional installation is highly recommended.
