This document provides installation instructions for the LeoVince LV Corsa Slip-On exhaust system designed for the Kawasaki Z 400 and Ninja 400. Please ensure the exhaust system has cooled down completely before beginning any work to avoid burns or damage to heat-sensitive components.

Components List
The kit includes the silencer, link pipe, and a fitting kit containing screws, spacers, springs, and clamps. Verify all components against the technical drawing provided in the manual before starting.
Installation Steps

- Remove the original silencer from the motorcycle.
- Check that the mating surfaces are clean and in good condition. Slide the link pipe onto the original header, ensuring the graphite bushing is used if supplied to replace the original. Partially tighten the securing strap to allow for further adjustments.
- Slide the Leovince silencer onto the link pipe. Check the alignment of the mounting eyes for the springs and the exhaust outlet. Connect the parts together using the provided springs.
- Fit the clamps to the silencer. Mount the spacers, washers, and brackets as shown in the technical drawing and secure them by tightening the nuts and bolts.
- Tighten the various clamps to secure the connection between the Leovince link pipe and the original exhaust header.
- Start the engine, let it reach operating temperature, and check that there are no gas leaks.
Important Notes and Maintenance
Break-in: During the first few kilometers, the exhaust system will settle. Slight gas leakage may occur. It is mandatory to check and re-tighten all fasteners after approximately 100 km of riding.
Maintenance: Periodically check all brackets and fasteners, as they may be affected by use. Inspect sound-deadening material, seals, and rubber parts, and replace them periodically. The silencer may be cleaned using gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol. Do not use any solvents. Discoloration of the silencer is normal due to heat and material properties.
Prohibitions: Any modification or tampering with the exhaust silencer is strictly forbidden. Belgrove Sp. z o.o. declines all responsibility for defects or malfunctions arising from modified products.
Recommendation: We suggest having the fitting performed by a professional.
