Quick Guide

Before using your LG 15Z90R Series Notebook for the first time, ensure the battery is fully charged. Always back up critical data to an external storage device, as SSD malfunctions can lead to data loss. If the system does not shut down properly, wait until it is fully loaded before attempting to shut it down again.

Product Tour

Front: Features the webcam, webcam operation status lamp, built-in microphone, keyboard, touchpad, and power button.

Left Side: Includes the HDMI port, USB-C port (supports USB 4.0 Gen 3x2, Thunderbolt, LAN adapter, and power delivery), and a headphone port (4-pole ear microphone).

Right Side: Includes built-in speakers, microSD card slot, USB port (USB 3.2 Gen 2x1), and a security keyhole (Kensington Security Slot).

Power and Connectivity

Power Connection: Use only the provided AC adapter. It supports input voltages from 100 V to 240 V. Connect the power cable to the adapter, then to the USB-C port on the PC. The adapter lamp indicates status: On (connected/charged), Blinking (charging), Off (not connected).

LAN Adapter: To connect to a wired LAN, a separate LAN adapter must be purchased. Connect it to the USB-C port on the PC.

Battery Usage and Safety

Battery Care: To extend battery lifespan, keep the battery level at about 50% if not used for an extended period. Use the 'Extend Battery Life' function in the LG Smart Assistant to limit charging to 80%. Avoid keeping the battery completely charged for long periods.

Safety Precautions:

• Do not use the product on soft surfaces like blankets or beds to prevent overheating.
• Keep the battery away from heat, humidity, and metallic objects.
• Do not bend the power cable excessively.
• If you detect leakage or a bad odor from the battery, contact a local service center.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, check the following before contacting support:

• Screen color issues: Check if 'Reader Mode' is on and turn it off if necessary.
• Power won't turn on: Disconnect the power cord, then hold the power button for at least 6 seconds to reset the system.
• Touchpad not working: Check settings in 'LG Smart Assistant' to ensure the touchpad is not disabled.
• Wireless network issues: Press Fn + F6 to toggle airplane mode or check if the wireless device is turned off.
• Driver issues: Use 'LG Update' to reinstall required drivers.
