This guide provides essential instructions for operating your Maisto RC vehicle. Before first use, ensure the built-in battery is fully charged and the controller is equipped with fresh batteries. The vehicle and controller automatically sync when both are switched to the ON position.

Charging the vehicle

- Ensure the vehicle power switch is in the OFF/CHARGE position.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the vehicle to access the USB cable.
- Connect the USB plug to a certified USB port.
- The LED indicator will light up red to indicate charging.
- Once the LED turns off, the vehicle is fully charged.
- Disconnect the USB cable, store it back in the compartment, and replace the cover.
Controller setup
- Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw on the battery cover.
- Insert 2 new 1.5V AAA (LR03/R03) batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.
Operation
Syncing: Set the power switch on both the controller and the vehicle to the ON position. The Power LED on the vehicle will flash for less than 3 seconds and then stay on, indicating the automatic frequency matching is complete.
Driving:
- Pull the trigger on the transmitter to drive the vehicle forward.
- Push the trigger on the transmitter to drive the vehicle backward.
- Turn the transmitter steering wheel to move the vehicle left or right.
Performance tips and maintenance
- Do not drive on grass, sand, or through water.
- Avoid driving in windy or rainy weather.
- Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from the vehicle.
- If the vehicle does not run in a straight line, adjust the wheel alignment lever located under the chassis.
- Turn the switch of the controller and vehicle to the OFF position when not in use.
Cautions
- The built-in rechargeable battery must be charged before use.
- Do not overcharge the battery; do not charge for more than 1.5 hours except for the initial two charges.
- Do not charge the battery if it shows leakage, corrosion, or has loose/exposed wires.
- Do not cover the vehicle with any material while charging.
- Do not touch the vehicle immediately after use if it is hot; allow it to cool before recharging.
