Quick guide from the manual
The Sanela SLU 01N is an automatic washbasin tap designed for cold or premixed water. Crucial: The unit must be connected to a constant 24V DC power supply. Do not connect the power supply behind a light switch, as this will disrupt the sensor's operation and calibration.
Installation
Before installation, ensure you have read the safety instructions. The installation requires a 35 mm hole in the washbasin.
- Ensure the main water supply is turned off.
- Mount the faucet onto the washbasin.
- Connect the water supply hoses.
- Flush the water lines to remove debris before final connection.
- Connect the solenoid valve and sensor cables according to the wiring diagram.
- Ensure the water flow direction on the solenoid valve matches the arrow on the housing.
- Connect the 24V DC power supply, ensuring correct polarity (brown = positive, white = negative).
Operation and Settings
The faucet operates automatically via an infrared sensor. The default settings include an automatic stop after 5 minutes of continuous flow. Advanced settings, such as sensor range, flush duration, and hygienic flush intervals, can be configured using the SLD 03 remote control.
Parameter Settings
- Sensor Range: Adjustable between 0.1 and 0.3 m.
- Flush Duration: Adjustable between 0.25 and 7.75 seconds.
- Hygienic Flush: Can be set to intervals of 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72, or 168 hours, with a duration of 5 to 1200 seconds.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is required to ensure proper functionality. Check the water supply sieve regularly; it must have a mesh size of ≤ 90 µm. If the flow decreases, clean the sieve and the aerator.
Technical Specifications
- Power Supply: 24V DC (constant voltage required).
- Operating Pressure: 0.1 - 0.6 MPa.
- Connection: G 1/2".
- Automatic Stop: 5 minutes.

Practical help
Common problems
Verify that the power supply is connected to a constant 24V DC source and not switched via a light circuit.
Check the water supply sieve for debris (must be ≤ 90 µm) and ensure water pressure is within 0.1 - 0.6 MPa.
Use the SLD 03 remote control to adjust the sensor range between 0.1 and 0.3 m.
Before use
- Ensure a constant 24V DC power supply is available.
- Verify water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa.
- Check that the mounting hole is 35 mm.
- Ensure the power supply is NOT connected to a light switch.
- Confirm the water supply sieve is clean and installed.
Specs in practice
- Sieve dimension ≤ 90 µm
- Maximum particle size allowed in the water supply to prevent valve clogging.
Model compatibility
- Compatible with SLZ series power supplies (SLZ 01Y, 01Z, 04Y, 04Z, 06).
- Compatible with SLT thermostatic mixing valves (SLT 04, 05).
- Requires SLD 03 remote control for advanced configuration.
