The Somogyi AD 200F is an ultrasonic aroma diffuser and humidifier. Important: To prevent bacterial growth, you must empty and clean the water tank every 3 days. Always use distilled water to prevent scaling and ensure proper operation. Never allow water to enter the air vent (4) during filling or emptying.
Product Overview
The device features an ultrasonic oscillator that creates a cold mist. It includes a 200 ml water tank, two humidification levels, and mood lighting with flame effect. The unit automatically switches off when the water runs out.
Putting into Use
- Place the device on a solid, horizontal, flat surface.
- Connect the adapter plug to the device.
- Remove the cover from the water tank.
- Fill the tank with distilled water up to the MAX line. Do not overfill.
- Add 5-10 drops of natural aroma oil if desired. Do not use artificial substances.
- Replace the cover.
- Connect the adapter to a standard 230 V~ / 50 Hz grounded wall outlet.
- The unit is ready for operation.
Functions
MIST Button: Controls humidification levels. Pressing the button cycles through high/low mist settings and turns the device off.
LIGHT Button: Controls the mood lighting. Cycles through high brightness, low brightness, pulsating light, and off.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning is essential to prevent scaling and bacterial growth.
- Water Tank: Empty and clean every 3 days. Rinse with fresh water. For scaling, use a light acetic water solution (1 tablespoon of vinegar in 1 glass of water), then rinse thoroughly.
- Atomizer (Oscillator): If scaling occurs, drop 5-10 drops of vinegar onto the oscillator, wait 2-5 minutes, and clean gently with a soft material like a cotton swab. Rinse with pure water.
- Important: When pouring out water, always pour towards the right side of the buttons to avoid getting water into the air vent.
