This guide provides the essential steps to connect and use your StarTech.com USB-C Multiport Adapter. Ensure your host computer's USB-C port supports DP Alt Mode for video output. The device is compatible with Chromebooks and supports Power Delivery 3.0 for charging your host computer.
Product Overview
The adapter features two sides with various connectivity options:

- Side A: Includes the built-in USB-C host cable, USB-C Power Delivery port, HDMI output port, and Gigabit Ethernet port.
- Side B: Features two USB-A data ports.
Installation

- Connect the built-in USB-C host cable to a USB-C port on your host computer. The computer will automatically detect the device and install necessary drivers.
- Optional: Connect a USB-C power adapter (up to 100W) to the USB-C Power Delivery port to charge your host computer.
- Connect an HDMI display device to the HDMI Output Port using an HDMI cable.
- Connect a network cable (CAT5e or better) from your network device to the Gigabit Ethernet port.
- Connect USB peripheral devices to the USB-A data ports.
