Assembly
Before assembling, read all safety instructions carefully.
- Remove the connecting screw and the existing saddle from your car jack (not included).
- Place the traverse onto the car jack.
- Spacer installation: For 3t low-profile jacks and 3t long-reach jacks, the spacer must not sit on the connecting screw. For other 3t and 4t car jacks, slide the spacer onto the connecting screw.
- Fix the connecting screw of the traverse and tighten it securely. Ensure the traverse is perpendicular to the car jack housing.
Operation
- Completely lower both saddle pads.
- Align each saddle pad with the vehicle's lifting points and center the weight over the car jack.
- Raise the traverse using the car jack until one saddle point is near the vehicle's lifting point.
- Raise the saddle pads until both make contact with the lifting points.
- Slowly lift the vehicle to the desired height. Ensure the traverse remains level and the load is centered.
- Place two jack stands at the recommended support points of the vehicle.
- Lower the vehicle onto the stands before beginning any work underneath.
