Before using your Dimplex EverDri dehumidifier, please note the following critical safety and setup requirements:
- Refrigerant R290: This unit contains flammable R290 gas. Do not pierce the cooling circuit. Ensure the unit is stored and operated in a well-ventilated area.
- Settling Time: After transport or tilting, let the unit stand upright for 12 hours before connecting to the mains.
- Clearance: Maintain at least 50cm of clearance around the unit for efficient airflow.
- Room Size: Do not operate in rooms smaller than 4m² (10L models) or 7m² (14L models).
- Environment: Do not use in bathrooms, near water, or in small enclosed spaces like closets.
How It Works
The dehumidifier draws moist air through the unit, condensing moisture on cold cooling elements. The water drains into the tank, and the dried air is slightly warmed and returned to the room. Effectiveness is reduced in temperatures below 5°C.

Control Panel and Operation
The control panel allows you to manage humidity and timer settings:

- ON/OFF: Powers the unit on or off.
- Humidity Setting: Select continuous operation (CONT) or specific humidity targets (40%, 50%, 60%, 70%). Lower settings target drier conditions.
- Timer: Set operating time (1, 2, 4, 8 hours). Times can be accumulated up to 15 hours.
- Pre-set Function: Press the timer button while the unit is off to schedule a delayed start.
Drainage
When the water tank is full, the compressor stops and the indicator light turns red. To empty, pull the tank out squarely. For continuous drainage, connect an 11mm inner diameter tube (not supplied) to the drain spout inside the tank compartment. Ensure the tube is at a lower height than the outlet to allow gravity drainage.

Maintenance

- Body: Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Do not use volatile chemicals.
- Plastic Dust Filter: Washable. Clean every 2 weeks with warm water and mild detergent. Dry completely before re-installing.
- Active Carbon Filter: Not washable. Clean with a dry cloth. Place in sunlight for a few hours every 3-6 months to recharge.
Troubleshooting
- Unit does not operate: Check power, room temperature (must be 5-32°C), and ensure the water tank is fitted correctly and not full.
- Unit seems to do nothing: Check for blocked air intake/outlet or dusty filters.
- Leaking: Ensure the unit is on a level surface and the tank is properly seated.
- Error Codes: 1H, 2H, 4H, or 8H flashing indicates a sensor or connection malfunction. Disconnect from mains and contact customer service.
