The MTI Metro 3 (Model 175A) is a luxury bathtub available in freestanding or alcove configurations. Key requirements for installation include planning for future access to equipment, remote mounting of air blowers, and specifying flange locations at the time of order. Please note that the drain kit is not included with the tub and must be purchased separately.

Product Overview

The Metro 3 features a 66" x 42" x 24" footprint with an 80-gallon capacity to overflow. It includes a flat 11" deck surface on the drain side designed for mounting faucetry. The tub is available in Acrylic CXL or DoloMatte finishes.

Installation Requirements

• Future Access: Always consider future access to equipment before ordering or installing.
• Drain: The drain kit is not included with this model.
• Air Blower: When ordering an air bath, the air blower must be remote mounted.
• Sculpted Finish: Unless ordering on 4 sides, you must include a diagram specifying which sides require the sculpted finish and the location of optional tile flanges.
• Microbubbles: Components must be installed on a non-Sculpted Finish side and will extend beyond the perimeter of the tub.

Electrical Specifications

Electrical requirements depend on the selected hydrotherapy package. Ensure your electrical system supports the following:

• Microbubbles: 1-15 amp
• Air Massage: 1-15 amp
• Microbubbles with Air: 1-20 amp
• Air Massage Elite: 1-15 amp
• Microbubbles with Air Elite: 2-15 amp

Accessories and Options

Various options must be ordered at the time of purchase, including:

• Tile Flange: Factory-installed rigid ABS (1, 2, or 3 sides) or field install kit.
• Drains: Cable driven, lift & turn, or toe tap options available in various finishes (PVC or solid brass).
• Sensory Therapies: Options include Chromatherapy (underwater lighting), Audiotherapy (transducers with Bluetooth), and Thermaltherapy (Radiance heated zones).
